Diana Maria Riva has had a distinguished two-decade career in TV, film, and theater. She stars as Detective Ana Perez in Netflix’s “Dead to Me,” earning a Screen Actors Guild nomination and an Imagen Award. Riva mostly recently starred as “Adela Castelli” in the HBO Max comedy The Gordita Chronicles, and as “Julia Mejia” in the Nexflix series Glamorous. Her film credits include “Kajillionaire,” “Noelle,” “McFarland, USA,” “Love and Mercy,” “Short Term 12,” and “17 Again.”

On TV, Riva starred in NBC’s “Telenovela” and CBS’s “Man with a Plan,” earning a People’s Choice Award. She has had roles in FX’s “Saint George,” Fox’s “The Good Guys,” CBS’s “¡Rob!,” and recurred on “Madam Secretary” and “Everybody Loves Raymond.” Discovered by ABC Studios, she starred in “Common Law” and the ABC/Steven Bochco series “Philly.” Riva received rave reviews for Lifetime’s “Side Order of Life.”
